Everyone loves to host a good party. And everyone else loves to attend awesome parties. It is not your fault if the desire to throw or go to some is increasing, as we really need constant break from work and a reminder that we are social animals. However, you may not want to attend or conduct the same party over and over again. So if you want to tweak your time of your lives a little, we have a few party suggestions and ideas you may want to try.
Quirky Theme party
Okay, you might do this annually as Halloween occasions, but it gets exciting again if you do it not on Halloween and with a bit of modifications. How about challenging their creativity by announcing the costume theme several hours before the party so there is not enough time for people to fully prepare, so they would have to make the best out of their remaining time? Or try giving weird themes, like toilet objects or a supervillains party. Just add a little extra to a traditional party and it would be extraordinary.
Unique menu
Not only did guests come to party and drink, there should also be something to munch on! What are we talking here, grilling hotdogs and burgers? Sure, but you could do better. Have a special menu for your party. Why not offer some unusual eats to your guests? You can try to choose a concept or a theme, like what they do in resort parties with Hawaiian-themed servings. How about a Chinese-style menu, with noodles and dumplings and wanton? Or exotic foods (that are totes safe and edible) like some bugs and insects? You can get ramen from Japanese restaurants, or Thai food. Click here for more info on Japanese restaurant Prahran.
A la Escape Room
If you really want to go the extra mile, this is among our favorite suggestions, though it may take much effort to pull off. Host a mystery-solving puzzle-decoding treasure-hunting party that every guest can participate to. Function venues Windsor can be arranged with the owners to be setup in a labyrinth kind of way, or as an entire crime scene where you hide clues for people to look. The important thing is for everyone to have a participation. It would be better if you plan this ahead of time to make sure things will go according to your mysterious plan. It can be inspired by that film “Escape Room,” or a Hunger Games-like set of activities (which is pretty ironic if you take it literally). This is definitely going to blow the minds of your guests.
Bars and photo booths
Ah, the two favorite things in a party. Sure, you can just buy drinks and make your own cocktails but it would actually be better to have a wider range of options for your guests to drink. So a cocktail bar would definitely be a surefire thing to have in your party. Furthermore, have some snapshots in place for your guests. We don’t mean just phone cameras for selfies. Two words. Photo. Booths. They are great if you hire one because it includes rent on the props you can use when takin pictures, and a customized design if you want to. Our recommendation? Retro props with a sepia-like effect on photos. Vintage vibes are so nostalgic and you can never go wrong with it.Chances are you get to host at least one party a year. So if you want to attend crazily exciting parties, make some crazily inventive ones too! So don’t forget our above recommendations on your next par-tay. And of course, have fun, because you deserve it.
